We invite you to come and take advantage of all the books and resources available at the local public library- as well as its extensive network with other public libraries throughout the prefecture!

All visitors are welcome to use Yurihama’s libraries during its operating hours; however, a library card is required to check out any books or materials (this can be used at the Hawai Reading Room located in Hawai Elementary School as well as the Tomari Shiosai Plaza). Visitors may borrow up to 10 books or magazines for 2 weeks and returns may be made at the book-drop found outside each location or at the counter. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please inquire with the staff- they will be happy to check with the other libraries, including Tottori Prefectural Library, for you.

There are also various read-alouds and other fun activities held each month, so be sure to check the monthly Yurihama newsletter (広報ゆりはま) for further details on upcoming events!
