ＹＩＦＡのキューバについての国際理解講座及び交流会

平成28年6月12日（日）に、湯梨浜町国際交流協会（YIFA）はカフェ・アチェリーノでキューバについての国際理解講座及び交流会を開催しました。キューバの「ラジオ・ハバナ・キューバ」というラジオ番組でボランティア活動をしてきたスティーヴ・オブライエンさんが講師としてキューバのあまり知られていない優れている教育制度や医療制度、経済、歴史、政治などを紹介してくださり、大変興味深い理解講座でした。その後、参加者はキューバのおいしいコーヒーを試飲して、質疑応答を行いました。

イベントの後半は交流会で、カフェ・アチェリーノのメニューを楽しみながら、参加者は歓談したり、交流を深めたりしました。

 

The Yurihama International Friendship Association (YIFA) hosted an international understanding lecture and exchange event at Café Achelino on June 12^th, 2016. Guest lecturer Steve O’Brien, who has been involved with Cuba’s Radio Havana Cuba for several years, spoke about Cuba’s relatively unknown but strong education and health care systems, economy, history, politics, and more. Participants then enjoyed a question and answer session over a sample of delicious Cuban coffee following the lecture.

The latter half of the event consisted of an exchange event where participants chatted as they enjoyed the various dishes prepared by Café Achelino and both created new friendships while strengthening the old.

第17回ハワイアンフェスティバル・7月4日（月）ハワイと湯梨浜の町民交流会

インドネシア交流会 ・ Indonesia Exchange Event

The Yurihama International Friendship Association (YIFA) hosted an international exchange event featuring a presentation by special Indonesian guests at Café ippo on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Living in Japan as part of their company’s training program, the guests have spent the past several months learning about Japanese language and culture in addition to their technical studies.

Attendees were treated to an introduction to Indonesia, learning about its geography, customs, and lifestyle. The lecture also introduced common dishes, such as mie goreng, ayam goreng, and gado gado, and various famous sites, including the Kraton and the Borobudur and Prambanan temples. The guests also shared a bit about their experiences in Japan and a hopeful message of peace and mutual understanding beyond country borders and cultural differences. The event was followed by friendly chatting and exchange.

平成28年3月6日（日）に、湯梨浜町国際交流協会（YIFA）はインドネシア人のゲストによる講演をメインに異文化交流イベントをカフェイッポで行いました。会社の研修で来日し、この数ヶ月インドネシア人の研修生は仕事の勉強に加えて日本語や日本の文化について学んできました。

 　インドネシアの紹介というテーマで、出席者はインドネシアの地理、慣習や日常生活についての講演を楽しめました。ボロブドゥール寺院遺跡、プランバナン寺院群等という有名な場所やミーゴレン、アヤムゴレンやガドガドなどというインドネシア料理等も紹介しました。因みに、YIFAの皆さんは面白い繋がりに気づきました。それは、インドネシアの主食である米はインドネシア語で「ナシ」と言いますが、湯梨浜町の特産品である「梨」と同じ発音を持っているということなのです。☆

インドネシア研修生は自分の日本での経験を発表し、国や文化を超える相互理解と平和のメッセージを述べました。講演の後、皆は楽しく歓談しながら交流の輪を広げました。
