Asozu Song

2015.06.30 (Tue)

The Asozu Song is a traditional folk ballad associated with the Asozu area of Yurihama. The name Asozu was derived from a village originally established in the shallows of Lake Tōgō, which encompassed the western shores of the lake, Hawai Onsen, Kami Asozu and Shita Asozu. The ballad sings of a charming townscape as if it were a peninsula where the town floated on the water on the surface of the lake.
