馬ノ山 ・ Horse Mountain

Horse Mountain (Uma no Yama) is located at the northern end of the plains of the former town of Hawai. With an elevation of 107 meters, its viewing platform offers a beautiful panorama of Yurihama. Visitors can also experience the ancient burial ground, the Hawai Town Museum, and the Horse Mountain Park. This mountain is known as the site wheren General Motoharu Kikawa set up camp in defense against General Hideyoshi Hashiba, who used the nearby Mikanmuri Mountain as his post when he attack the area in 1581.
