Toyonoka strawberry とよのか(イチゴ)

Toyonoka strawberries cultivated in the Hawai region are a hybrid of the Himiko and Harunoka breeds. Compared to previous hybrids, the Toyonoka hybrid has a stronger fragrance, a brighter lustre and exquisitely balanced sweetness and acidity. In winter, they are used to decorate Christmas cakes, with a fresh red colour that lasts until the beginning of summer.
