The Three-Eight Market 三八市 (さんぱちいち)

2013.10.07 (Mon)

On every day in October with a 3 or an 8 in it,  Matsuzaki holds the morning “3-8 Market”, selling local and handmade goods. Traditionally, the stores here used to sell everyday goods and farming tools, attracting many buyers from the neighbouring towns of Tomari and Hashizu. These days, the town’s market stalls display pictures from years past, giving a retro look to the modern event. The market runs from 8:30am to 11am.

Place:  around Matsuzaki’s third ward

場所:湯梨浜町松崎 松崎三区周辺
